The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) has announced that the National Talent Search Examination for this year will be conducted on November 2. The last date of filing the applications for this examination will be August 31, the MSCE has said in a statement issued recently. Students of class X studying in recognized schools are eligible to appear for the examination conducted by the state government and there would not be any domicile restriction, the MSCE has said.
The exam would be conducted in two stages. While stage I of the exam will be held on November 2, stage II would be held on May 10, 2015. The application forms would be available online to schools from August 1 on www.mscepune.in. Print out of online forms along with the required documents are to be submitted by the school to the respective education officer by August 31, said the statement.
Stage I of the examination will comprise three parts including mental ability test (50 marks), scholastic aptitude test and language testing (40 marks) and scholastic aptitude test for subjects other than languages.
The stage II examination at the national level be intimidated in due course by the National Council of Education Research and Training.
